Archives of Ontario reading room registers (RG 17-42)

[197-]

Series consists of two registers documenting researchers, and their research subjects, who used the Reading Room and research facilities at the Archives of Ontario. The registers were created during the 1970s using original registration records and it is likely that the original records were destroyed after the information was transcribed. The information in the registers includes the researchers' names and address, dates of visits, and research subjects. The registers also contain some early correspondence. The information in the registers is arranged chronologically by date from 1922 until June, 1968; the information for the years 1968 to 1972 is arranged chronologically by year, and then alphabetically by the researcher's name.
